Safety Fair
2005, was the first annual Straighten Up Orthodontics Safety Fair. It is our commitment to educate and empower children and parents in our community. We are honored that the following individuals and organizations have attended our Safety Fairs and have supported our community wide event: Clearwater Police Department; Clearwater Fire Department; Mark Lunsford; Skip Mahaffey of Q105; Mayor Frank Hibbard; NRA; American Red Cross and more.

Office Hours-Tuesday through Saturday
Office hours vary Tuesday through Saturday. We offer early morning, late afternoon, early evening and Saturday appointments. It is our intention to offer hours that are convenient for families and individuals with demanding schedules.
Financial/Insurance
Radiant Smiles…Humble Costs
Straighten Up Orthodontics provides a clear and comprehensive treatment fee that includes all charges at the consultation. Our fee is your total out of pocket expense; there are no hidden costs or surprises.
Payment options
Straighten Up Orthodontics accepts cash, check, automatic monthly draft payments and all major credit cards. We offer online account management.
We gladly accept CareCredit.
The orthodontic fee may be paid:
- In full, at the commencement of treatment. A bookkeeping discount is extended.
Or
- Monthly with NO interest and NO finance charges.
- As a courtesy, we offer online account management.
- As a courtesy, we also offer auto drafts to bank accounts and/or credit cards for interested patients.
If orthodontic payment is not made in full, then the fee will be paid in monthly installments. Prompt payment is expected. We welcome open communication on financial and all other issues. Often, a quick telephone conversation will clarify any questions or misunderstandings. Our goal is for patients to have radiant smiles.
Insurance
Orthodontic insurance coverage is distinct from dental insurance, and if a patient has coverage, all plans vary. Straighten Up Orthodontics gladly accepts patients regardless of whether or not they have orthodontic insurance. It is our pleasure, to process insurance claims for the patient. Our clear and firm policy is that the patient is solely responsible for the orthodontic fee, offset by what their insurance pays toward treatment. It is the patient’s responsibility to understand their orthodontic policy and its coverage. We encourage patients to confirm and verify their coverage with their provider.
