The Second Step
Before orthodontic treatment can begin, orthodontic records must be taken. At the records appointment, comprehensive digital photos are taken. In addition, digital cephalometric and digital panorex X-rays, and dental models are made. Straighten Up Orthodontics uses digital radiography because we feel it is most responsible to provide an option with the least radiation. Also, the digital technology efficiently enables us to effectively communicate the step-by-step process of orthodontic treatment to the patient.
